Happening on Palladium Way just west of St. George’s, we will be helping and participating as a church in this community festival on Saturday, June 25 so please mark the date on your calendars. Formerly called the Car Free Street Festival, it has been a great event in past years with free food, games, bouncy castles, music, pony rides, and displays. St. George’s will be providing free snacks such as popcorn and snow cones. So, we will need lots of volunteers. More information will be coming about how to get involved.

Our Love My Hood Ward 6 Street Festival: on June 25th, 2016 will have lots of activities for everyone including; bouncy castles, face painting, music, cultural dance, pony rides, food by the Halton Islamic Association and the Burlington Mosque, painting in the Park by ARTHOUSE, Yoga, Dancing in the Street, The Heart and Stroke Big Bike, a vintage car display, a clothing and food drive, activities by the Healthy Kids Community Challenge, helmet and bike inspections, a bike rodeo with Halton Regional Police, a performance by the Burlington Teen Tour Band and more… for the latest updates go to http://www.wardsixnews.ca/love-my-hood/
