The Gospel and Life Series

The St. George’s Centre for Biblical and Public Theology presents,  The Gospel and Life Series. This series’ aim, is to relate the good news of Christ to all areas of life.

This initial 3-part series, will take place Sundays, 9-10am, in the Family Room at St. George’s.
The Rev. Prof. Craig Bartholomew will be leading each of the sessions.
 
The Series

  • ORA: Prayer; the Journey In  |  Feb 14
    • Preparation: Come having reflected on your practices of prayer and having looked up each reference to prayer in Luke .
  • SCRIPTURA: Scripture – Listening for God’s Address  |  Feb, 21
    • Preparation: Come having reflected on how you read Scripture and how you understand it as a whole.
  • LABORA: Work and Vocation – Hearing God’s call  |  Feb 28
    • Preparation: Come having reflected on your vocation and how one goes about discerning this.

If you have time read Elizabeth O’Connor, Journey Inwards, Journey Outwards. There area few copies in the church library.
