What I meant to say

Matthew and I were invited to the taping of 100 Huntley Street last night.  They are celebrating their 50th anniversary this week and invited all of the past hosts to join the founder, David Mainse, on air.

We sat front row, waiting for our turn to be welcomed and briefly interviewed.  As David began to welcome us a picture of Rhonda came on the screen.  David, Matthew and I basically spent the entire time crying together.

I was unable to say what I wanted.

Here is what  meant to say:

  • It was an honour for Matthew and me to be there on Rhonda’s behalf.
  • We hear from 100 Huntley Street viewers who still pray for us.  Thank you.
  • The promises of the gospel are dear.  Though in Adam all die, so also in Christ, will all be made alive (1 Corinthians 15:22)

Producers of 100 Huntley Street have repeatedly asked if I would come on the program for an extended interview.  I have assured them I will, at some point.  When I am ready.
