OUR VISION

Welcome.
Welcome to the online home of St. George's Anglican Church, Burlington. We are a Christ-Centered, Bible-rooted church family located in Southern Ontario. We are glad you're interested in our church. Find out more about us here on our website or, even better, come and meet us in person. Everyone is welcome!
What is the Gospel?
First of all, the gospel is good news - the good news of what God has done in Jesus Christ. The Bible depicts people, all people, as in rebellion against God, and therefore under his judgment. But while God stands in judgment over us because of our sin, amazingly he also stands over us in love, because of his incredible grace. The gospel is the good news of what God, in love, has done in Jesus Christ, through Jesus’s cross and resurrection, to deal with our sin and to reconcile us to himself.
Join us on Sundays as we gather together in worship around the good news of Jesus.
Life can be hard. If you are in need of prayer, or pastoral care please contact us. We care about you.
Stories.
“I have known the gospel my whole life, but hearing the gospel preached more, has renewed, refreshed, and given me a new joy.”

You Belong to Christ
To belong to the Lord Jesus Christ will demand a completely different approach to your life. If you want to be first, you must take the lowly place. If you want to be a leader, you must find a way to humbly serve. Those who belong to him will seek out people who can do nothing in exchange for them. They will serve them, sacrifice for them – all for the sake of Christ.
