Jesus sees beyond outward appearances and religious performance. In Mark 12:38–44, He contrasts the hypocrisy of the scribes with the quiet, wholehearted faith of a poor widow who gives everything she has. But ultimately, the passage points us to Jesus, who held nothing back and gave His life for us.
What are you still holding back from God? Look to Jesus, trust His goodness, and open your hands to Him.
