Jesus has changed your family tree. Once you were traitorous, cutoff and outside the family of God, destined to starve and die, but now you have been welcomed to the table and given a place in the family of God.

Through the lens of Jesus, we see that God has not delayed – He has already delivered us. So now we wait patiently on the Lord, until that moment where our faith will become sight.

The Lord’s goodness is never sweeter than when you need it most. There is nothing more radiant than a saint calling on the Lord in their hour of need.

The gospel brings joy. Even weighty instruction and discipline exist for your joy. Everything in God’s word is toward our greater joy, even when it doesn’t initially feel like it.

Christ spent of himself for our souls. Paul spent of himself for the Corinthians. Likewise, let us spend of ourselves for others, caring for their souls and walking in repentant faith.

When the grace of God is all you have, you come to realize that the grace of God is all You need. It is sufficient for you.

The validity of a Christian’s life is put on display by the way they endure hardships. True Christian’s live a life patterned by the cross.

There is one true Jesus and instead of trying to change him and his gospel, we need to bow our knee to Him.

Christian churches that endure are those that love, cherish, read, preach and conform their lives around God’s word.

We are never more like Jesus than when we give sacrificially, generously and cheerfully.

You do not become more generous by working on generosity, you become more generous by returning to the cross and realizing that everything you have is from God.

When confronted with sin, the true Christian feels godly grief and turns to the saviour. Godly grief does not end in grief, it leads to restored joy in Jesus Christ.
