Baby Joel had his heart surgery yesterday around 6pm. The surgery was very successful and there were no complications! Janie says he’s doing better than great! Praise Jesus! Please continue to lift up this dear little guy in prayer, as his little body recovers from the surgery.
Here is the latest Facebook update from Janie at the Hospital. Here we are at Sick Kids. Joel remains stable in isolation. It has been discovered that Joel has a heart defect and needs surgery. He is being moved to Toronto today and is receiving critical medication. We will know in the next 2 hours if that medication works. If it does, it is more likely that the surgery will be successful. Please pray hard!
Please pray hard for little Joel Cosby, the youngest member of the St. George’s family. He is in critical condition at McMaster Hospital. His breathing and heart stopped and he needed to be resuscitated. He is only 3 1/2 weeks old. There will be no Mom 2 Mom Drop In and Youth Night this week because of March Break. They will both return the following week. Our Men’s Bible Study and Mid-Week Communion Service will continue as scheduled this week.
Ray David David will be starting a Men’s Bible Study this Wednesday 7-8am. It will be a fantastic way to reorient your mind back on to the glory God in the middle of your work week. All men are welcome.
