MEET OUR MISSION PARTNERS

-

We believe God calls his Church to make disciples and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to the nations. We are grateful to partner with faithful men and women who are serving Christ around the world. Through prayer, giving, and encouragement, we support their work and join them in God’s mission.

Logan and Samantha Gates

The Gates family, with their young son Lewis, will be based in Santiago, Chile in early 2027. Logan will be pastoring a church in the capital city, where there are few Evangelical churches. Logan’s desire is to reach the community through initiatives like Alpha courses, businessmen breakfasts, “skeptics nights,” and discussion groups themed around questions of life and faith. Their vision is to see a generation of young people and professionals encountering God, not despite their tough questions, but through them, and to see the Church strengthened in its confidence to commend Christ in a secular context. They hope that in time opportunities will grow for them to serve more broadly across the region to equip the Latin American Church for evangelism.

Presently, they are being trained for their role in Chile by working with a Spanish-speaking congregation at Christ Church, Vienna, Virginia, US.

Logan’s calling to ministry began with a high school mission trip to Nicaragua that deeply impacted his faith and gave him a heart for Latin America. Now an ordained minister in the ACNA, Logan has spent the past ten years as an itinerant speaker in the area of Christian apologetics, which has to do with giving a “defense” (apologia) for the hope we have in Christ (1 Peter 3:15). Over these years, Logan found the Lord opening doors to Latin America, through language study, internships in Nicaragua, and opportunities for Spanish-language ministry in both Canada and South America.

Samantha is half-Latina and spent a short time living in Latin America as a child, though she hadn’t felt a calling to missions before marrying Logan. Since then, Samantha has felt a growing desire to serve overseas by drawing on her background in accounting, contributing meaningfully to church life, and caring for their growing family.

Lewis was born in August 2025 and has been a healthy and happy baby!

L&T

L&T are Gospel workers serving in the 10:40 window. L&T have been based in this region for over 20 years. Their work involves Evangelism, Discipleship, and Mentorship. They work with people from a cross-section of society and have seen much fruit.
L&T both work across borders in sensitive geographies, which is why we cannot publish their full names.
