How Can You Help the Glenns?

Hi folks,

Many have been asking “how can we help the Glenns at this time?” Since they will be home this week on day passes most, if not all, meals will be at home. In addition, they will have parking fees at the hospital.

If you like to cook then they would appreciate a meal that can be frozen so they can have it any time. Rhonda does not eat Beef but otherwise all three like everything (no allergies). You can drop these off at the church office during the week and they will be delivered and/or email the church office [email protected] to make arrangements for pickup.

If you don’t want to cook you may wish to contribute to their parking fees and again you can drop off your contribution or put it in an envelope on the offertory plate on Sunday.

    • Good evening Ray…My name is Rob Croezen I work at the Office of the Children’s Lawyer. Julia and I have discussed organizing some of our colleagues to gather and offer collective prayers for Rhonda, You and Matthew.

On a more personal note, I was a member of St. Paul’s United Church in Milton up until recently. Between 2001 and 2009 I participated in offering Contemporary Service and have written many CCM songs that were performed during services. It is a special gift from our Lord. I wondered whether Rhonda might be up for a visit on Thursday morning where I bring my guitar and share some of this music with her as a way of providing comfort and prayer.

I can be contacted at [email protected]

I understand if this may be too much. But I felt compelled to make the offer.

Blessings to you and your family.

      Rob

  1. Hi Ray-David:

We just heard about your dear wife Rhonda. We are joining the many in prayer for her healing. Psalm 27:14

  2. Ray-David,
I just heard about your dear wife. I will share this as a prayer request at our college staff meeting tomorrow. My wife Joan adds her prayers to mine for a deep awareness of Christ’s presence with you, Rhonda, and Matthew.

  3. Hi to The Glenn Family:

I don’t know you. My name is and I am the Pastor of The Salvation Army in Georgetown. I want to assure you of my prayers and the prayers of our congregation. These I know must be difficult days and I trust the Lord will give you the courage and strength you need for today and the days that are ahead.

    Blessings,
    Renee

  4. I am a semi-retired law clerk and have taught legal programs to new immigrants so they can obtain work in a law firm. Some of my students are now taking the new pilot program for internationally trained lawyers while others returned to their home countries to practice law there as it was too difficult for them to have their law programs recognized in Canada. I also attend the luncheons hosted in Toronto by the Christian Legal Fellowship. There is a luncheon on the 19th of May and I was wondering if you or Rhonda can email me and tell me what area(s) of law Rhonda likes and why she chose law school and any verse(s) to share. Thanks.
