Please pray for young Lucas Roes who was taken to MacMaster Hospital late last night. Lucas is only six weeks old. Below is an email from his mother Erin.
Todd and I are at the hospital with lucas. His weight dropped quite a bit over the last week and he’s just not himself. We saw our doctor and then a pediatrician yesterday and lucas isn’t doing any better yet so we brought him to Mac about 3am this morning. They’re running tests now and they’ll be keeping him for a few days at least if not more until they figure out why he’s loosing weight all of a sudden and until his weight is back up. Were just praying its nothing serious and he’ll get better fast.
Please lift up this little one in your prayers and pray also for peace for his parents, Todd and Erin.

Lifting the Roes family and dear sweet Lucas up in Prayer
I just visited them and Lucas is resting. He is getting re-hydrated and seems to be gaining strength. They await test results to determine the cause. They expect to be in the hospital for a few more days.

I visited Lucas again today. He has put on a bit of weight and seems to be doing better. All glory to the Great Physician!
The doctors will keep him in for another day, or so, just to monitor him. Please continue to pray for him, for Erin and for Todd.
We are praying for you all, for Lucas to regain his strength and for him to gain lots of weight.
As I put Emily to bed I am thinking of Lucas, Erin and Todd and I am praying for Lucas’s strength to continue to grow be sent home to be tucked into bed by Erin and Todd. I pray for things to be as they should home again, and home to stay.

Great news. Lucas and Erin are on their way home this morning. Lucas has put on more weight and seems to be doing well.
