Praying Together

Ever wondered things about prayer but were afraid to ask? Maybe you thought as a Christian you should automatically know how to prayer with others. Perhaps you have felt like you would like someone to pray for you but that Sunday mornings were a little too public or intimidating.

We are having our second of a new prayer initiative. Calling it simply, “Praying Together”, our evening will consist of a time of worship, a very brief teaching on a practical aspect of prayer, some corporate prayer in small groupings around specific themes or topics, and a time of personal prayer ministry for those desiring it.

Friends, these evenings are for everyone at St. George’s, not just the “prayer warriors”. It will be relaxed, informal and easy to access, no matter what your previous prayer experience may be. You will find it a rewarding and encouraging use of an hour and a half. Guaranteed!

Our next “Praying Together” event will be held on Sunday, July 7th, at 6:30 PM in the Founder’s Hall at Crossroads. We will wrap up no later than 8:00 so that it will not be a late night for those who have an early Monday morning.

Please consider making corporate prayer a regular part of your church life. We need one another – God has made us that way. And we need to pray together; for our families, our parish, our neighbourhoods, and the world at large. Whatever your corporate prayer experience has been in the past, come and give this evening a try. You won’t be disappointed!
