Day of Prayer for Noreen

Rick Carpenter, our Parish Prayer Coordinator, has called for a day of prayer and fasting on Wednesday July 21 for Noreen Culver. She will having surgery to remove a cancerous tumor on her shoulder this Wednesday. Below is a note from Noreen herself.

Dear Friends:

I had the results of the MRI last Friday and I thank God that there are no tumours in my neck or the upper spine. I have a peace about tomorrow and thank each one of you for covering me in prayer. God is good and continues to provide for me. Over the last year or so I think about Psalm 23: The LORD is my shepherd. He leads me beside quiet water and restores my soul……. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for He is with me, guiding me and comforting me……… …Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

I love that He continues to guide, lead and comfort me through all this. I have asked Greg to write to you tomorrow just to let you know how the embolization went. And again after the surgery on Wed.

I am thankful for each of you.

Love Noreen
