Blair Update

Here is an update on Blair’s condition from Rochelle.

Hi guys, I spoke with the Dr. not long ago with Blair. He said that the main artery has Thrombosis and there is nothing they can do to repair it, as we asked and questioned. He said this happens 1% of the time. He said they could go fix it if it had happened soon after surgery, which happened to another patient 3 mths ago, but they suspect it happened 3-4 days ago. He said they will likely put him on the list tomorrow to make sure there aren’t any infections. In which case they have to treat the infection before he can have another transplant. They prefer because he has already had a live transplant to do a deceased next. They said he’d be 1 step lower at the top of the list as critical. Last time they had the same situation with another patient was 2 years ago. On the list he could wait anywhere from an hour to eight days. The procedure to release fluids has helped Blair feel more comfortable. He is currently in Step down. Please pray as the Lord leads.

  1. Rochelle, we are not very close to your family but I feel very strong with Blair, you and the kids. I was shaking earlier when Claurelle told me that there is an issue with Blair. It is a blessing that this problem is being treated. I pray for Blair to have his health back. I pray in Jesus name.

  2. Rochelle,

Blaire is under the care of The Great Physician, Jesus Christ whom we place all our trust in.

Our prayers are with you and your family.

  3. Praying for all of you. Praying for peace and the sustaining care of Christ; for health and complete recovery. May you find His strength during these anxious times.

  4. We continue to uphold Blair, Rochelle and the children in prayer. It is at moments like these when we realize that there is nowhere else to turn, except to the Lord Jesus. Our prayers are with dear Joe as well.

  5. Rochelle we and the prayer chain are praying hard for you guys. Please tell Blair that Philips class is prayig every day for him.

  6. Lord Jesus, You are watching over Blair, Rochelle, Avery, Jacob and Nathan. We commit this family (whom we love so dearly) into your care. May You continue to be glorified in their lives. Grant them faith and trust in place of fear and discouragement.
