To be a Christian man or woman is a high calling in a world lost in sin and decay. To be a christian elder or pastor is even a higher calling, as you are charged to bear the weight of not only your own soul, but also of those under your charge.
Desperation comes to us as a gift of God. Do not waste the desperate situation you find yourself in. Allow the difficulty and loneliness to press you into a deeper hope in God.

Christian, God the Holy Spirit dwells in You. The God of the universe is intimately present with you. He has come and made His home with you.
True faith in Jesus happens when God grants you eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart that is tender to receive Him. The gospel works because it changes our hearts.
