Know your fear. Know your enemy. Know your Saviour.

The hope of the gospel is a future hope, but it is also a hope for the present.

God’s purposes in Jesus are to reconcile us and the whole created order back to himself.

He is not a God who hates the material world, He is a God who takes on flesh and redeems it.

Christ is the head of the church and you are a part of his body. You are called up into a life where even the most mundane thing is epic. You are a part of something that God is using to save the world.

In this theatre of time and space that we inhabit, there is no such thing as random accidentally. All things, including your life, exist to make the glories of Christ more fully known.

Christ’s rule and reign over everything is not disconnected from the mundane things of everyday life. He is tangibly connected to our reality.

Pray for spiritual wisdom, pray for power to endure with joy, and pray with thanksgiving.

If you want the new life, look to the cross.

Live your life out of the story of the gospel.
