The Parable of the Weeds
We are all weeds and we all deserve the fiery furnace, but God in His loving mercy has a different purpose for us. Because of Jesus we will shine like the sun in the kingdom of our Father.

If you place your hope in anything other than God and His word, whether it be the cares of this world or the deceitfulness of riches, it will choke out the fruitfulness of your life.
The hope of the gospel is a future hope, but it is also a hope for the present.
God’s purposes in Jesus are to reconcile us and the whole created order back to himself.
He is not a God who hates the material world, He is a God who takes on flesh and redeems it.
Christ is the head of the church and you are a part of his body. You are called up into a life where even the most mundane thing is epic. You are a part of something that God is using to save the world.
In this theatre of time and space that we inhabit, there is no such thing as random accidentally. All things, including your life, exist to make the glories of Christ more fully known.
Christ’s rule and reign over everything is not disconnected from the mundane things of everyday life. He is tangibly connected to our reality.
Pray for spiritual wisdom, pray for power to endure with joy, and pray with thanksgiving.
